0005 LIVING Corriere – Ritorno ai ’50, November 2020 (IT)
Published by Living – Corriere della Sera, this feature presents a residential project by BUNKER Studio set within an eighteenth-century villa in the Tuscan countryside. The design carefully preserves the building’s historic character while introducing a contemporary language shaped by bold colours, bespoke interventions and a curated selection of collectible design and artworks.

The interiors unfold as a sequence of interconnected spaces, where each room is conceived as part of a larger architectural narrative. Custom-made elements, carefully selected vintage pieces and site-specific artworks establish a dialogue between past and present, creating an environment that feels both timeless and deeply personal.

Throughout the project, architecture, interiors and art are conceived as a single composition. A restrained palette of natural materials is contrasted with saturated colours, custom-designed elements and carefully selected vintage furniture, creating a sequence of spaces where each room unfolds as part of a continuous narrative.

This publication documents an early milestone in BUNKER Studio’s journey, illustrating the studio’s commitment to creating highly individual interiors where architecture becomes a framework for collecting, living and experiencing contemporary design in a meaningful and authentic way.
