0011 LIVING Corriere – Il taglio giusto, April 2023 (IT)
Featured in Residence – The Art of Decorating, this publication explores a residential project by BUNKER Studio where classical architecture is reinterpreted through a contemporary design language. Original proportions and architectural details provide the framework for interiors defined by bespoke craftsmanship, natural materials and a carefully curated selection of collectible furniture and artworks.

Featured in L’Indirizzo, this editorial presents Taglio Giusto, a project by BUNKER Studio that reimagines a centuries-old butcher shop in the historic centre of Castelfranco di Sopra as a contemporary restaurant with a strong and distinctive identity.
The project originates from a simple but powerful idea: creating a dialogue between the building’s historical character and a bold, unexpected interior language. Rather than replicating the aesthetics of a traditional Tuscan restaurant, BUNKER Studio designed a space that balances heritage with a cinematic and almost theatrical atmosphere.

Throughout the restaurant, custom-made furniture, polished metal surfaces, marble floors and carefully selected vintage pieces create a layered visual experience. Dramatic lighting installations, deep red curtains and mirrored elements reinforce the contrast between the historic architecture and the contemporary intervention, transforming every room into a unique spatial sequence.
The editorial also highlights the bespoke details that define the project, from custom-designed tables and seating to the reinterpretation of traditional materials through a modern perspective. Every element contributes to an environment where craftsmanship, functionality and visual storytelling coexist.
Beyond its aesthetic impact, the project celebrates the cultural identity of the place. The restaurant remains deeply connected to the long-standing tradition of Cristiano Filippini’s butcher shop while introducing a completely new hospitality experience that brings together gastronomy, architecture and design.
