Published in Living – Corriere della Sera, this feature presents one of BUNKER Studio’s residential interiors, a project that transforms everyday living into a curated experience where architecture, contemporary art and collectible design exist in constant dialogue. 

The renovation preserves the proportions and elegance of the existing structure while introducing a new spatial clarity. Bespoke architectural elements, including oak herringbone flooring, decorative wall panelling, fluted walnut cabinetry and handcrafted details, create a calm architectural framework that allows furniture, lighting and artworks to coexist naturally.

The interiors are conceived as a sequence of carefully composed spaces, balancing clean architectural volumes with expressive colours, sculptural furniture and bespoke details. Rather than following a predefined style, the project celebrates individuality through an eclectic selection of contemporary artworks, vintage pieces and custom-designed elements. Natural light plays a fundamental role throughout the house, enhancing a palette of soft neutrals interrupted by vibrant accents of pink, emerald green, turquoise and deep burgundy. Layered textiles, handcrafted rugs and statement lighting contribute to an atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and welcoming.

Furniture and objects have been selected as protagonists rather than accessories. Collectible pieces coexist with timeless design classics, while contemporary artworks establish visual connections between rooms, giving each space its own identity without compromising the overall harmony of the home.

The bedrooms and private areas continue this narrative through immersive colour schemes, custom furnishings and carefully orchestrated material combinations. Rich textiles, mirrored surfaces and sculptural lighting transform functional rooms into intimate environments that reflect the personalities of those who inhabit them.

Throughout the project, BUNKER Studio embraces a multidisciplinary approach where interior architecture, art curation and furniture selection become inseparable. Every element contributes to a coherent visual language that combines elegance with spontaneity, creating interiors that are expressive, contemporary and deeply personal.
