Cy-byrinth is a series, consisting of one table and four unique chairs, born from the need of BUNKER Studio to represent the sense of captivity in front of the technological evolution in progress.

The design world today wants to digitize reality obsessively. With Cy-byrinth, the Studio wants to achieve the opposite, bringing materiality as close as possible to the digital image, making photographic images on the borderline between real and digital through product, light and set design. Design as a medium to introduce the theme of the cyber-labyrinth.

The exponential development of digital technologies and the advent of social networks, have gradually and inexorably changed our society, which is witnessing the collapse of social and urban sharing and the emergence of a new normality that, in the name of security, strips us, with our consent, of every intimate and personal space. BUNKER Studio wanted to represent the metaphor of this feeling with the Cy-table where a labyrinth with no exit is drawn and the Cy-chairs reminds to the pixels.

The silhouette of the Cy-chairs has an irregular shape that recalls the pixels of digital screens.
